The Nurtured Parent is here to help parents gain confidence in
their parenting choices. It is understood that there is an
abundance of information out there telling parents "how to be
a better parent", but implementing those ideas can be
overwhelming. Therefore, it helps to have someone who can
listen to your specific situation and assist you in sorting through
the excess to find what fits you and your family. You will walk
away knowing that your choices as a parent are best for your
family.
Also very important, is that parents (especially new parents and
post partum parents) need someone to listen nonjudgementally
with an understanding of the sensitivity of parenthood issues.

Counseling on any concern you may have from the comfort of
your own home. (Services only available in Washington State)
Online counseling via email or online chat ($40/half hr; $80/hr).
Phone counseling ($40/half hr; $80/hr)
Talk with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has diverse
experience and who focuses on issues that you are most
concerned about.

Parenting problems and concerns
Depression & Post Partum Depression
Anxiety
Life Stressors and Transitions (marriage, new baby, divorce,
death of loved one, etc.)
Developing support systems
Single parenthood
Having a family member with special needs
